Those lazy days of summer are finally upon us, but if you’re anything like me, lazy probably isn’t in your vocabulary! I don’t know any crafter who knows the meaning of the word! There’s always something to be done. Our buyers have been shopping worldwide to bring in the greatest selection of yarn, fabric, beads, home dec and more and their purchases are arriving daily. It is so exciting to see all the wonderful new yarns coming in, they are sure to stimulate the imagination of every knitter out there!

The fabrics that are arriving for Christmas are some of the prettiest I have seen in long time. I know it’s a long way off but if you want to make your Christmas gifts, now is the time to start, especially when the selection is at its’ best! Also, our Quilt Shoppe is just brimming with some of the most beautiful fabrics for quilting that I think you’ll find anywhere. We have an amazing selection of the cutest purse patterns, perfect for this time of year.

Our beading and jewellery making department is growing in leaps and bounds, with fantastic new items arriving every week. If you are a serious beader and haven’t been to visit our retail store lately, please drop in, you’re sure to find something wonderful!

And...speaking of Christmas, our Gift Shoppe will soon be packed to the rafters with hundreds of great gift ideas as well as home dec ideas. We can’t wait for you to see them!

If you’re planning a trip this summer, we would like to let you know that July 1 – July 11 is our “save the HST” sale...your purchases will be reduced by the equivalent of HST at the tills, a great opportunity for savings and stretching your dollar a bit. The ultimate sale begins on Thursday August 19 and runs until Labour Day, our “Tent Sale” of course! Crafter’s come from miles around to check out the savings under the “big top” which can be found right in our parking lot. The savings are amazing and it’s always lots of fun!
